Privacy policy

Short version: this site uses Google Analytics to see which articles people read, and it does not load until you agree to it. Nothing else is collected.

What we collect

If — and only if — you accept cookies, Google Analytics (property G-21JBYSGQP6) records which pages you visit, roughly where you are in the world, the type of device and browser you use, and which site referred you.

We do not ask for or store your name, email address, or any account details. There is no login, no newsletter and no user accounts.

Consent

The site uses Google Consent Mode v2. Before you make a choice, analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are all set to denied. That is the default state, and it applies to everyone, everywhere — not just visitors in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland.

If you accept, only analytics_storage is granted. If you reject, nothing is granted and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time using the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Advertising

This site does not currently show ads. There are reserved spaces in the layout where advertising may appear in future. If that changes, this page will be updated before any ad code goes live, and advertising cookies will remain subject to your consent choice.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data held about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because this site stores no personal identifiers, the practical way to exercise these rights is to reject cookies, which stops collection entirely.

You can also control Google’s use of data through Google My Ad Center and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Third-party links

This site links out to YouTube, Twitch, Modrinth, the community wiki and creators’ social accounts. Once you follow one of those links you are on their service, under their privacy policy, not this one.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
