Every Permanent Death on Content SMP

People die constantly on Content SMP. Luxintrus dies during an interrogation and comes back within the same scene to keep spying. RAT is killed and stripped after the Airship Expedition. Winsweep is killed at the Masquerade, in a warden trap at Markhett, and repeatedly while trying to gatecrash magic lessons.

None of that counts. What follows does.

1. The Mason — the Battle of Bonesburrow

The first, and the one that establishes the rule.

The Mason contracted with The Seven, changed Ancient Debris spawn rates, and kept it quiet with four others. RAT found out, ran the Easter Slaughter, and then — because The Mason was unaccounted for that day — attacked Bonesburrow.

The Mason dies permanently. RAT did not intend that.

That detail is the whole event. Content SMP's first irreversible act is an accident committed by its protagonist during a revenge attack. Everything downstream — Mouthpiece arriving, Diansu inheriting Bonesburrow, Oceana existing at all — comes from an overshoot.

Killed by: the battle itself.

2 and 3. Zombiedwarf and Void — The Manhunt

Zombiedwarf organised an ambush on Winsweep. Winsweep escaped it, sheltered in Bonesburrow, found a hidden chamber with a book of coordinates, and followed them — with Luxintrus alongside — into Mouthpiece's Lair.

There, over Luxintrus's explicit warning, he bargained for the Lesser Divinity. He tested it on a pig. Then he went back to the ambush party.

Only Zombiedwarf and Voidiable were left. They lost, and their existence was forfeit.

Two at once, and the first deliberate ones. Winsweep afterwards left a compass at the Log Cabin pointing RAT and Luxintrus to the gravestones, with a threatening letter attached.

Killed by: the Lesser Divinity, obtained by contract.

4. Diansu Vulkarch — The Revolution

The head of state.

With Oceana's fighters stranded in Neverend, Luxintrus retook Markhett and offered a peace treaty. Diansu refused, escaped in AmyMialee's yacht, and began building the Invictus Engine at Wee Sir Island — where his own Elysium armour's electromagnetic signature kept giving away his position.

After the ambush at the assembly, Luxintrus challenged him to a duel for the fate of the server. She revealed The Dusk's Epitaph; he revealed the Grimore Ex Moriya, stolen from Gitaly.

Diansu was defeated and permanently killed. Viceroy Boolean took Oceana.

5. Luxintrus — The Funeral

The one that isn't like the others.

RAT and Lux developed Defile to defeat Winsweep once and for all. Asai gave Winsweep the Divine Dominance, specifically to permanently kill both of them.

Luxintrus sacrificed her existence to save RAT.

Every other name on this list was killed by someone. Luxintrus spent hers. The distinction matters: she isn't a casualty of the escalation, she's the person who ends it by paying the maximum price voluntarily, for the man who was once her target.

Cause: a choice, with the Divine Dominance in the room.

The pattern

Line them up and the shape is hard to miss.

Every permanent death traces back to the Charter.

• The Mason: died because of a contract with The Seven.
• Zombiedwarf and Void: killed with the Lesser Divinity, traded from Mouthpiece.
• Diansu: killed with the Dusk's Epitaph.
• Luxintrus: died with the Divine Dominance in play, having just built Defile to counter it.

Not one of these happens with ordinary weapons. Permanence on this server is a Charter property, and every instrument that grants it is bargained for, dug up, inherited or handed over.

It escalates in a straight line. Lesser Divinity → shards dug up and rebuilt as the Broken Lesser Divinity → the Dusk's Epitaph → the Divine Dominance. Four arcs of people acquiring progressively worse things to point at each other.

Everyone who holds one comes off badly. The Mason signed and died. Winsweep took the Lesser Divinity and lost his cause, his rival, six months in Neverend, and finally the only person who made his existence make sense. Luxintrus won a duel with the Dusk's Epitaph, then lost her arm and her Charter contract to Mouthpiece with the same weapon, then died. Diansu refused Mouthpiece's deal outright and was killed by someone else's artefact anyway.

That consistency is why the Charter reads as an argument rather than a magic system. Arathain plays The Mason, Mouthpiece and The Augur — one author behind the signing, the collecting and the foreseeing — and the point being made across all three is the same: the bargain is honoured, and it costs more than what you got.

The one that got away

RAT. Noxintrus used the Broken Lesser Divinity on him in Seven Million Blocks, and everyone who knew believed he was permanently dead.

He came back, after a months-long journey from beyond the world border.

Whether that's because the rebuilt version is diminished, or for some other reason, the story hasn't said. It's the most load-bearing open question on this list, and anyone answering it confidently is guessing.
